About Sean

A musical journey from Hong Kong to London.

Hui Pang Lee, known as Sean, is a violist and violinist born in Hong Kong. He began studying the violin with Felix Chan at Hong Kong Children’s Strings.

His musical education took him to the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, studying with Matthew Jones and Gary Pomeroy. He holds the FTCL Diploma from Trinity.

Sean’s experience includes solo performance and chamber music, including membership of the Hongs Quartet. He has performed at venues across London, including the Barbican Hall, Holy Sepulchre Church and Kew Gardens.

Alongside performing, Sean teaches violin and viola, helping students develop the tools to listen closely, practise thoughtfully and find their own musical expression.
